Decatur was purchased (or rather rescued) from a member of the Minnesota Free-mo group and is temporarily out of service while I make some much needed repairs and upgrades. Please see the news articles below for the progress on the rebuilding of this module.
Decatur has a number of industries including:
- Heinkel’s Packing: Shipping meat products in insulated and refrigerated cars.
- Decatur Herald & Review: Receiving newsprint in double door box cars.
- Prairie Farms: Receiving grain in covered hoppers, corn syrup in tank cars, and shipping product in insulated box cars.
